THE YARD

What an amazing opportunity it was to explore not only the craft and skill that the Wootten's have cultivated over the last century when it comes to building, repairing and restoring river boats, but also their family dynamic and history within the Yard, this sacred space that has seen five generations of their kin hone their talent on the river. 

Cold and misty mornings provided us with some spectacular cinematography whilst shooting with the family, and although we lost the feeling in our hands on a number of occasions, it was a true pleasure directing such a personal and emotional piece.
